i can understand why turkey does not want this and was not happy but they should not of done it all these years ago and claim killing millionss was part of war, and then years later whe a few turks died they called it a kind of genocide?!?!

so a few turks ="a kind of" genocide but millions of armenians = barely a murder?

i dont see what good this will do for any one but i can also understand what it means to the armenians who have suffered at the hands of the turks like we have in cyprus

ISTANBUL - Anatolia News Agency

The 29th Annual Conference on United States-Turkey Relations, which is organized by Turkish-American Business Council, or TAIK, and American-Turkish Council, or ATC, every year in April, has been postponed.

Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey, or DEİK, stated on Saturday that the conference, which was planned to be held in Washington between April 11 and 14, was postponed due to approval of an Armenian resolution at Foreign Relations Committee of U.S. Congress and the following developments.

TAIK and ATC made the postponement decision together, added DEİK.

The two councils expressed sorrow over the postponement of the conference to a another date, and stressed that they had full confidence in sound commercial and investment relations between Turkey and the U.S.

On March 4, the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Relations approved a resolution in support of the Armenian allegations regarding the incidents of 1915.

Upon such development, Turkey temporarily recalled its ambassador in Washington, D.C., Namık Tan, to Ankara.

The man has done far more damage then good with his statements on this matter. Erdogan seems too be the main reason why Bulgaria,Serbia and Israel will be recognizing the genocide within a short period of time.
