I have always considered and always will that the wealthy Greeks are the scum of the earth. You can not possibly meet a worst individual than a stuck up Greek rich who looks down on their fellow humans , hardly any of them are known for their generosity to charity , some do , and they have an insatiable appetite for material goods . I don't like them mate , have met them and socialized with them and they are not at all my type.

About the toilet paper ... lol!

I understood it is not to do with what piping you have fitted to your HOUSE - it is to do with the narrow guage of the piping taking it to the sewage plant/sewers/wherever it goes.

Was in Pegia at the weekend and up in Pegia Hills they are digging up all the roads and some locals told me they are sorting the sewer pipes so they can put paper down the toilet.

Every house in Cyprus has its own personal sewerage system which is basically an 8..12m hole in the ground so all the waste ends up in there.

We’re also obliged by law to make provision for the future council sewerage system by adding a bypass pipe that leads to the road but it's not connected yet.

I said "basically" which means I refrained from mentioning/explaining the rest of the bits that make it a sewerage system. However I once posted a diagrammatic plan of the entire system (when somebody had questions) if you're interested although finding the post now would be a nightmare.
