he was in the intensive care unit and he had very bad treatment in istanbul and trnc so he came to our private clinic with no insurance... it was a very serious problem he had that could of been fatal if not treated, they had to pump him full of morpheen and the nurse was telling him she did not have to look over him all the time because the doctors in nicosia know what they are doing, but in istanbul they made him worse and she had to be there all the time next to him

Palio mou, they hate us, they hate us, they want us dead, but when the shit hits the fan they come running to RoC. Be it medical, pensions, passports, IDs, their land, etc etc.

In time they will all cross over when the trashcan has turned to ashes.

Except for the hardliners partionist VP, Yfred, Bir, Yogozulu, Insan, plus many of the cheapskates, they will just rot over there due to their egos.

exeis dikaio b25, i never knew before then that they did. because they receive no help from the turks and cant go to england, i think they where also scared from the orams case also that the same will happen to them maybe.

me and my brother where saying why does the trnc not help them since they are promising them safety from law and when they need help they come running to us.

But because trnc is recognised they think they are safe there.

ah btw dont forget Zan ;p i have not seen him post for ages now, i guess he gave up on the forum or is taking a break.

well he was comlaining all the time and doing nothing else even though he had the same nurse here that he did in istanbul because she was sitting with him all the time there due to lack of trust in the turkish doctors. but here she felt ok to leave him... but he was complaining about everything the tv being in greek only the nurses..

our doctor let my brother break all the rules and do what he wanted lol

they said he knows this doctor give him extra care :D

the man had all his family run into the hospital from the north. i still felt sorry for him, and wonder why the trnc and turkey did nothing for him.

I remember once I wouldn't get my blood sample taken for analysis at the old general hospital because I was a soldier and my DAD just got so pissed off that he started shouting at them allowing people from the north with no paper get treatment and us Cypriots ignored. Policeman was there he couldn't say shit. After shouting and making our point I was allowed. bloody idiotic government we have. Giving more rights to this ungreatfull people

Let us get things into proportion, folks. This is somebody who is paying for private treatment at a clinic. The RoC economy is earning money from this.

Oh. OK, that is different, then. But why would a private clinic treat somebody for free?

Tim,

Like me, I think you suspect that this may be hearsay, a chinese whisper or an urban myth, call it what you want, going the rounds.

The whole thing sounds too implausible - someone with no insurance being treated in a private hospital instead of being sent to a public hospital - for some reason telling everyone he is on the run from the UK law - being treated by a Turkish nurse, who just happened to have treated the patient in Istanbul - being in so much pain he needs lots of morphine but complaining about the TV?

I'm sure demonizing TRNC Brits is a favourite sport in RoC - I know everyone in the UK is fed up with migrants overrunning the NHS, or so many there like to say.

Come on, you couldn't make it up....
