IMIA Memorial march 2010
Every year, on the last Saturday of January, Greek Nationalists from all over Hellas, gather in Athens in order to commemorate and honor the three Hellenic Navy Officers that were killed by Turkish fire in the rocky island of Imia, during the Imia crisis in 1996. This gathering is one of the biggest nationalist demonstrations in Europe and it is also a clear statement that the people of Hellas don’t want Turkey as a member of the European Union.
This year, because of the Citizenship Code reform that the government plans to put into effect, by giving Greek Citizenship to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from Africa and Asia, the memorial meeting became also a demonstration against this traitorous plan.
This year, it was different!
Thousands of Greek patriots and Nationalists gathered in the Imia Memorial monument, near the parliament, on Saturday 30th of January and raised their voices for race and nation, for honor and dignity. The crowd was almost 5.000 people, but the mainstream media told nothing about the event!
The memorial event was organized by the Golden Dawn movement and there were also participating comrades of the German NPD, the Italian Forza Nuova and of course our Cypriot brothers of ELAM. After the memorial, a big march through the roads of Athens took place, which demonstrated the true feelings of Greeks about the new Citizenship Code and the demand for a referendum.
This is only the beginning of the struggle against the demographic catastrophe of Greece that is going to affect the whole of Europe, as a vast number of non white illegal immigrants will get European papers and citizenship overnight.
