I don't think he will be replaced. Whatever damage he could of have caused he already did it. Besides only 2 months left...
I wont be surprised to have Talat continuing the negotiation though even if Eroglu is elected. If this happens Downer will be replaced. And surely it will make a difference, I mean e.g we will not have proposals for 2 FIRS and Downer giving interviews that "according to his opinion they are within the framework of a BBF"
