The only way we will EVER realise hockey in Cyprus is if those damn Greeks get their act stogether, here's what its all about...

Larnaca has a tented ice rink on Finicoudes until the end of April. 'Larnaca on Ice'.

Perhaps the Cyps could use that to practice on?

Really? That'd be great, but we unfortunately don't have a hockey team and are in the 3 only list. The 3 Stooges of Europe.
The 3 ONLY countries in Europe without an icerink.

Albania
Cyprus
Yeah you guessed it... Greece.

No rink, no hockey I'm afraid.
Cypriots like their kick and fall sport, I think its called 'football'.

I just might give Larnaca a visit, just for old times sake. :D

Its only a small thing at Larnaca, but at least you will get your blades dirty.
My old team i supported in the UK just won the EPIH league cup this year.

Cap - I was being jokey - it's about 7 metres square! And will be gone by the end of the month.

But I do think an Ice Rink would be a great attraction in the very hot months.
