What if, just for arguments sake, one dark night troops from Turkey, under the command of generals from Turkey, in a covert military operation, replaced the "TRNC" flag, with the flag of Turkey? Just to show you who was boss... what then?

They wont.

They could if they wanted. And without your agreement.

Its got nothing to do with you, the TRNC is ours.

I wouldn't say that too loudly. A general from Turkey might take offence and want to remind you who's boss.

What difference does it make, they are our protecting force which keep you people at bay.

So the "TRNC" belongs to the generals not you. It's a bit like, say, a minor gangster who runs the organised crime in a particular neighbourhood and starts playing the big-shot.

Everyone knows it's the mafia bosses - those who provide the protection and bankroll the operations - who are really in charge. The real Capos don't take too kindly when two-bit hoodlums start getting ideas above their station, capiche?

Vp I don't if you heard..........that Cyprus is for Cypriots. So if you want to hang around after a settlement, go home and get your shinebox first.
