The TC flags on the road to Lefkosia...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby -mikkie2- » Thu Jul 21, 2005 11:30 am

The flag is not only rigorously maintanied by the occupation regime, they even had the gall to outline it with lights so that it could be lit up during the night! That is the sympathy and good will they show to the GC's!

Would TC's that do not agree with its presence actively campaign to remove it from the mountain? Do they dare risk the wrath of the Grey Wolves?

the Enosis shaved into the side of the mountain was put there by a random farmer. the trnc flag could not of been built over night. the government knew and still know yet refuse to take it down. trnc are living in in the past. come join the rest of the world on a political level

If Talat and Erdogan are genuine in their desire for a solution, removing or replacing the flag with something more suitable would be the easiest and most visible first step to demonstrate that.

You are over estimating grey wolfs.

Really? Would you actively campaign for its removal then? Would you and others camp outside the offices of Talat to demonstrate for its removal? I'd like to see you try!

I don't think you understand the point. You can go to 10 downing street and protest without fear of being persecuted. You try protesting in the north about something that is 'sacred' to Turkish culture. You will probably be set upon by the police/army or be attacked by a demented Grey Wolf!

Mikkie you are still overestimating grey wolfs, why should I try for removal them?

A bunch of mad men.

about flag, no I dont actively campaign for it, but reason is not gray wolfs.
Reason is, we are not seeing it as you.(I mean turkey people)

flags like it shows itself half of the Turkey. It is not problem for us and noone will understand why I want to remove it.

If I say greeks want it, They will protest it.

why should a Turk want removal of it?
