Identity crisis?

Postby The Rock » Fri Feb 05, 2010 8:05 am

Excuse me, Forumers.

What's the usual procedure to try and tell a forum member that he or she has got my identity wrong. I join the forum and ask about a Gibraltar flag avatar, then various folk say that I'm not who I say I am. What's up with that?

I'm reluctant to give out my personal details beyond my location (Gibraltar), and I do want to chat to folk here on the Cyprus Forum. Any suggestions?

Yep! Take you Gibraltar Flag and "trnc" flag and stick them up your bum! We don't take too kindly to colonial and fascist symbols of ill repute...

Have a nice day Expat! :D

Yeah, go back to the psychologist and tell him it’s a psychiatrist you really need because your attention seeking paranoia is incurable.

The rock various posters here believe rightly or wrongly that you are a former poster on the forums called expatwiki.

There is no process formal or otherwise wherby you can proove this is not the case.

There is also no presumption of innocence until proven guilty here either. Just 'trial by mob' effectively.

You will just have to put up with these accusations that will be constantly made against you regardless of if they are true or not or simply not bother to post at all. Thats just the way it is I am afraid. All part of the rough and tumble of the experience that is cyprus-forum.

it does not matter if he is expat or if he was using the forum before, the point is the trnc is not allowed and if you look in the suggestions part of the forum that i am too lazy to find the link a post by Zan a but down the page and another i forget but Admin Clearly explains why the trnc flag is not allowed.
