Palio,
Greece already has base in Paphos .... They were always in Cyprus. They never left the island. May be their troops numbers are not much as Turkey but they were here. To who we are kidding ?

Even head of the greek national guards is from Greece.

Because of Cyprus and agean sea Greece bankrupt now . It is the only EU country which needs protection of IMF now . The compation on arms with Turkey is collapsing their economy. soon or later they will call the IMF for help.

I think this already done by Turkey? Does this mean the the competition on arms created problems to Turkey first?
Now telling you a secret - Turkey called IMF because it had official and unofficial economical problems- Difference with Greece is that the problem is only official-I hope you can understand what i mean.

If 1974 is anything to go buy, I believe it is the TA that should be very afraid of the Cyprus National Guard, because now, unlike then, we are armed to the teeth.

But since you believe we are afraid, all the more reason why you should finish things off!

Greece only maintains its obligatory 1,100 troops in Cyprus and nothing more apart from a dozen high ranking officers within the CNG which are on exchange for interoperability purposes! This is nothing new, as many other countries such as the UK, Canada, Australia and NZ also do the same thing. Even flight crews and pilots are exchanged!

Now compare that to 40,000 occupation troops you bozo!

With all the misfortunes Turkey has caused to her neighbours in the last century (and beyond), can the Turks imagine a simultaneous combat with Greece & Bulgaria in the West, Russia & Armenia in the North, Cyprus & Syria in the South, and Kurds in the interior?

Also, I forgot to mention Israel is pissed-off with Turkey as well.

Don't push your luck Turks.

The Turks should really think big and take over all the surrounding areas just like their Ottoman predecessors did.

They have nothing to fear as they can take Cyprus in 2 hours, Thessaloniki in 4 hours and Athens in 24 hours!
