Even EU member state recognise that the facade of secularism is a poor attempt at disguising a military dictatorship.

Even the British know that the guarantees are not worth the paper they are wriiten on especially in this day and age.

In the post cold war world, Turkey should be reducing its military surley?

Really, funny they spend most of their time in the camps practicing shooting at silhouette of GC soldiers and tanks.
Funny old game. I have not seen any control of the TCs via the army.

Given the scabby "police force" in the Occupied Areas are in the pay of, and under the control of the Turkish Army surprised you ain't seen any of them around.

You know the "police" who tear-gassed the teacher's demo a few weeks ago, but guess you didn't see that. Did you miss it??

Is that what they did when the TCs rebelled and 60000 marched. Eroglu is in charge now. I thought you guys were very pleased that he came to power, or did I read your posts wrong.

Also hear you can't get in to Louciribleedingciginia without showing your ID and backside to the nice Turkish Army camped outside.

Your eyesight must be bad mate.

Total crap. You can get into Lurucina no problem. Get your facts right. The only road to Lurucina is through Piroi. Piroi is a Turkish Army camp. To go through the camp, you have to have ID and be TC. How many countries are you aware where civilians are allowed through a military camp without ID or allow foreign nationals to go through their camps. Strange thing is it has not stopped the clan from getting foreign national through and without showing any passports. As to the backside, that is a purely GC preoccupation, I know nothing about that. Ask GR he is the expert on military arse licking matters.

So why are the TCs not openly protesting against the settlers?

Fear of the the true rulers of Turkey perhaps?

They have more important things to worry about, like making a living while they are suffocating by all this love that is being showered on them by their GC cousins. When they no longer have to worry about where the next meal is coming from, they may actually join you to protest about the settlers, in the mean time quiet as she goes. You guys continue with the economic suffocation and you only have yourselves to blame. You really cannot continue to blame the victim and get away with it for ever. International community is getting wiser to the old tricks and what you saw the other day is only the beginning.

YFred, replace GC cousins with Turkish brothers and you are nearer the truth.
