    any body interested in forming a walking club around the Protaras area.

    Good socially. good way of keeping fit, and getting to know the area :roll:

There may already be one in existence - check your local papers or Google 'rambles'/'hashes' for your area. Good luck.

There is one already. Next to the beach. It runs about 3 km I think

we dont walk! we eat junk food and are lazy :D

Dennis you can get in touch with this association I think it will be what you are after, and there are more Forums on the eastside of Cyprus which might tell you more of what goes on in the area.

I,ve no knowledge of these ramblers/walkers but it sounds promising.

Agree with Fragnatic the Coastal path that runs from Pernara to Protaras is a real asset to the area its a great walk, lovely views, beautifully designed as well, hope they do more like that as it does,nt spoil the coast at all. Floodlite at night and entertainment areas along it, does,nt take long to walk as its only about 2km but worth it there and back, quick stop for a Keo as well :D
