Usual shit

Reh Z4, get over to Meet New People mate and get some of the ladies there over to chat. They seem quite interesting.

Would go myself, but have a gammy knee.

Ballet Teacher pushing you too hard also, huh!

My ankle is swollen with fluid from my torn membrane seeping joint-gel (so I'm told) after a particularly fast-spin pirouette ...

I hope you keep a bag or two of frozen peas in your freezer.

When was the last time you did ballet? It can put a lot of stress on your joints if you had not kept the practice up.

Erm, last week ...

It was them darn new shoes and I hadn't bothered to sew on the rubber band  ... so kept clenching to keep them on.

Are you speaking from experience? Does Whirling Dervishing put you on par with Nureyev?

Dervishes(real ones ) do it bare food and practiced bare foot.

The whorling is done not tiptoe but on the metarsals. They practise the whirl by knocking a nail/peg in the polished floor and place your big tor and the second metatarsal around it. They practise the turn in a static position till the foot muscles can take the strain and strngthen. Easy really. No special shoes.!

I found Nureyev a tad too effeminate for my likeing.

When Irek Muhammedov visited the UK, we went to see him twice. He had the elegance and masculinity together.

Its a matter of taste.

Many members here hang on, in bars - though I doubt it does them any good!
