Creeping recognition, Freudian slip or poke in the eye?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Helping Talat was just a veil. "Elections" are more that 2 months away...
He came IMMEDIATELY after the Orams case to deliver a message...

I hope more than anyone that I am wrong!

OK, Pyrpo. And the message was?

As long as Christofias and Talat, as is their stated common conviction, "find a solution to the Cyprus problem which would take into full consideration the legitimate rights and concerns of both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots" what is there to worry about?

This to me is a huge climbdown from Talat (post Orams) on the property issue. He has acknowledged that Cypriots have a legitimate right to their property and that this must be given full consideration.

Not to mention the nasty taste it would leave in your mouth.
I have been saying this for some time. International community is sick to death of the of their local difficulty in the south. Deal with and get the best deal you can, I think is what he said. But deal you get.

Too much difficulty. An undemocratic country fighting between mouslim and securalism and nationalism or militarism, uncontrollable nato ally, 40000 occupation troops no one in there to talk, deep state with 1000 decisions centers the list is endless

yes to much difficulty

You've got it all wrong. You really should know better. Re Turkey - They've got exactly what they want. The problem is the little insignificant upstarts, who view themselves as good old roc Hudson.

I agree with pyro on this on this one...property is not the issue here...they haven't even started to negotiate it yet...the most relevant for turkey here is governance and how to govern the whole island...legally...turkey would be happy to give all the land back as long as they govern...don't make any mistake about it...i don't even think turkey wants partition...cyprus is turkish is their motto...

while drunk with joy of a win we missed the actual point...

turkey has a long plan and looking a far while we think the eu is gonna be our saviour, forgetting the eu' is US pet puppet...anyway we should have VETO turkey from the start if we were serious about it...

another point is who gave turkey the green light for joining the eu?...the eu or the us?...this alone tells us who the master is and who the puppet is...
