Creeping recognition, Freudian slip or poke in the eye?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Moon only reads, barely at that I may add, what ever his aids give him to read. I really do not even know whether he understands what it is that he is reading or that he can even write in English. I'm not saying he is stupid, but he has a very poor knowledge of the English language, booth in speech and in written form, therefore, I wouldn't make too much on what he read to mean anything significant what so ever.!

The man was used Kikapu that's for sure.

I saw the video of his touring along the Green line, there was a British UN officer explaing him everything, it was obvious Ban wouldn't understand a single word!

Such honorific titles are very important. Try calling HM the Queen just plain Liz and you'll see what I mean.

Show me where I assume any such thing....

VW, Ban was just being courteous to his hosts. When it comes to your assumption you nonly need to know one golden rule.

1. Turkey has supreme power over the TRNC

By saying that recognition is on the table, you automatically assume that Turkey wants it. That's where you went wrong.

P.S: About the knob business, I don't know about the length but I can say one thing for sure though, I bet mine gets a lot harder than yours

Which thread? Calm down and let's clarify what's going. What is there to be gained from this... other than, perhaps, internal PR? And could this be something the UN/Downer did simply to bolster Talat prior to the election showdown with Eroglu?

No man, I said that I had "overtaken one" as in pass on the freeway. The guy was driving the thing at 80 km/h is a 100 zone. It was an old guy probably about 70 years old driving it.

That was a clear effort to equalize the legal state with the illegal regime my friend. Can't you see?
I mean even the media coverage:The UN only allowed RIK and Bayrak to cover Ban's walk in the buffer zone. Then at the press conference the same thing, 2 questions from Bayrak 2 from RIK ONLY.The occupation regime allowed ONLY Bayrak to have coverage in the occupied... Everything from the begining to the end. Starting from Bans meeting at the Republics presidential palace and then straight to the "trnc Presidential palace"

His coming here was totally unnecessary, there was no progress in the talks, what was the purpose of it? To give wrong impressions, wrong expectations? Perhaps it was to boost Talat's image, but did he have to do that this way, by equalizing the occupied with the legal state? Even if that would mean violating the agreed protocol?

Why do you think they are so happy (to the point of paranoia) in the occupied. Is it because Ban came here to "bring peace" lol?

Talat is deperate to be re-elected. The UN is desperate for the talks not to collapse, which is bound to happen if Cyprus Turks elect Eroglu. Desperate times, desperate measures. Try not to worry too much about it.

I've no idea. Ask the delusional Halil why he is so happy.

This is my firm conviction:
Ban came because the Anglo Americans together with Ankara forced him to come.
Helping Talat was just a veil. "Elections" are more that 2 months away...
He came IMMEDIATELY after the Orams case to deliver a message...

I hope more than anyone that I am wrong!
