When someone insults you the response isn't "NO" it's "FCUK OFF".

So that's 3 seconds instead of 1.

I'd love to exchange in some quick-fire banter with you, YFred, but first I'd need to remove two-thirds of my brain.

Youd be brain dead ho sorry you already are

You know, with your Turkish flags and your kindergarten tomfoolery, it's difficult to tell you and YFred a part tonight...

Funny how no one from the Turkish side can comment on the substance of any of this thread.

Halil, the secretary General after arriving last night at Larnaca airport had a dinner with the political leadership of the GOvernment of Cyprus at the Presidential palace. He made a speech there stressing the need for more compromise, when is your side's compromise going to enter into all this?

Wanted to, but it quickly turned into another slanging thread (just for a change!) instead of sticking to the subject.
I'm not sure the "deal" would have allowed ALL TR citizens free access to all of Cy. I thought it was just those TR settlers who would remain AFTER the repatriation number was agreed.?? Mind you, even that's a bit cheeky IMO.

Had trouble believing it myself, which is why I took the entire turkish proposal from Hurriyet so as to make sure it wasn't GC press exaggerating.

Even Hurriyet conluded that these were confederational demands not federational.

Christofias needs shooting, he is selling us out, perhaps he should also offer his and his missis arse to the turks just to keep them happy.

otating presidency of any duration is totally racist and goes against all EU principles. Why don't we just legalise the KKK again just to make it fair to the whites, perhaps get Obama out at the same time FFS.

Violation of the 4th Geneva convention is now becoming acceptable, someone should tell our motherfucker president that some things just ain't for compromise. Millions died to establish these conventions and at a stroke of his dick he is allowing settlers to stay in violation.

With a negotiator like Christofias who needs an enemy.

Turkey is pushing ahead with her annexation policy only this time is the entire island that she is after.
A nation of 70 million people all of whom would have the right to reside in Cyprus , how long does anyone think it will be before the G/Cs become the minority !

It's for this reason that turkish accession to the EU should (and I expect will) be vetoed by small countries hosting historic turkish population remnants (Greece, RoC, Bulgaria at least). In the extreme case, expulsion from the EU is preferable to granting residency rights to every turkish citizen.
