C'mon people...there are SOOOO many nice and useful phrases to be taught,u dont really neeed those stupid rude phrases...if someone is really interested to learn some useful stuff just let me know and i ll do my best to help!have a nice day everyone!

well i hope someone can help cos i need to learn the laguage as i am bying a pub in limmasol shortly and i can,t speek a word of the lingo or understand any of it

If you see a nice girl, a good compliment in greek is shilo poutana, it means 'beautiful face', all the girls will love you if you call them this. So all the girls you see, call them this, and you will be the most popular man in Cyprus!

You can also say Apopatos, thats a very country way of saying bathroom but they will be appreciative cause suprised you would know it :D

Isn't it maybe just as important to learn the answering phrases? It's not much use asking where the john is if you can't understand the reply. That'll have you pissing in your pants!
Which I would say was a good argument for learning more than the basic phrases. This of course applies to people who are going to spend more than a couple weeks on holiday in Cyprus, otherwise one can stick to good old English. :P
