Turkey is big and strong enough to fight her own political battles so dont worry about her as you can see the interional community does nothing because they do not care for a few spoilt GCs who have they want but still want more.

Who is still fighting to get into the EU?

pretending they dont care is their tactics to make it easier to join but all they are doing is making it harder and digging their own grave

Oh dear! Ankara says the European Parliament is not fair!

The Turkish capital has implied that it found a draft resolution on Turkey, which was adopted earlier this week by the Strasbourg-based European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, to be unbalanced and subjective vis-à-vis Turkey’s European Union membership process.

I think it's fair to say that quite a lot of countries are interested in closer ties with Turkey. With their zillions of Turkish consumers there. And quite a lot of countries want Turkey on their side too.

Reported today:

Note, nowhere in the 'Obama's messages on other topics' covering Turkey's relations with other countries, is Cyprus mentioned.

If you click the link, you can read it all palio. For those who would rather read it from another source, it has been widely reported and published and on YouTube too.

Here today, gone tomorrow politicians often use weasel words in an attempt to keep a regional bully on side for geo-strategic reasons. Courts however, including American ones, don't operate that way.

I agree with that mala. But some seem to be saying that the EU will send an army in to fight Turkey - that would be Governments acting, not courts. Do you think that would ever happen if things just stay as they are, but with TRNC refusing to budge much?
