Unforceable Judgement
UNENFORCEABLE JUDGMENT

Rauf R. Denktaş

(Lots of crying over spilt full-fat ayran)

Imposing illegal Greek Cypriot Court’s decision on TRNC is tantamount to cruelty and not justice.

:D :D :D

Thanks for that. And your point is?

In civilised countries judges judge and courts lay down the law. They don't interfere in political negotiations. If laying down the law knocks sensitive political negotiations for six, then what was on offer wasn't worth negotating.

How, exactly?

How does crying over spilt ayran counter the judgement? Or is Turkey planning to invade the UK?

Indeed. How about the EU?

Turkey: EU dishonest, responsible and wrong

http://www.worldbulletin.net/news_detail.php?id=53451

Erdogan said that the EU had not been honest on the Cyprus issue until now.

"The EU bears a great deal of responsibility for the current deadlock over Cyprus. They made a historical error in accepting south of Cyprus into the EU," he said.

Another example of why Turkey's strategy in VP's ongoing so-called "war" is demonstrably flawed. What is the point of crying over spilt ayran?

Erdogan is trying to cover up for this monumental failure on Cyprus by blaming the EU for his own country's dishonesty on the Cyprus issue, his own country's responsibility for the current deadlock, and his own country's historical error in allowing Cyprus to join the EU without first ensuring the Cyprus problem was solved.

More from Erdogan...
Erdogan also said that calling the southern party of the island "Cyprus" was another political mistake.

Or was the real political mistake calling his northern protectorate "Turkish Cyprus" and its people "Cyprus Turks"?

turkeys time in cyprus is running out and turkey is getting scared that they will have to leave and they wont get what they want from us.

If that is what was actually said then sure Turkey ahs no right to tell the UK courts what to do but I think they were airing their views about the judgement and how it would effect the current negotiations. Of course Turkey can take other steps or measures against the UK that is their right just as is the case for any country when they are displeased with another.

everyone is entitled to their views no matter if we agree or not.. but to me it sounded like he was saying that turkey has to approve what the courts do or say.. and to me that is not right

yes you make a good point, but as we have learned this is what happens when turkey does not agree with rules set on them especially when turkey so badly wants eu and has to comply with rules set. to withdraw the troops..

i dont see how they are helping having troops here. even you yourself said you are friends with gcs and there is no fear. but thats the excuse turkey gives for having them here. them being scared which to me sounds like excuses
