International Holocaust Day....

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

International Holocaust Day....

Postby Oracle » Wed Jan 27, 2010 8:10 pm

On January 27, 1945, the concentration camp at Auschwitz was liberated by the Soviet Union.

Today, January 27, the world honors the victims and survivors of the Holocaust.

One day Cyprus, too, will be liberated from the Turkish Nazis ...

well, i think Cyprus should be a whole island not devided and it belong to Cypriots though i believe the Turkish army is one of the biggest armies in the whole world and it isnt going to be an easy fight but who knows , may me the states stop supporting and backing up Turky witch might give a fair chance for a fair fight, but as some one from a country that have been invaded and we share simieler history, like being occupied by Turks, Brits and even Frensh i believe peace isnt a realistic and you wont get what was taking from you by asking and negotiating, words will not solve anything, but actions will..

i might sound wrong for those who really believe in peace but c`mon only miss universe is dum enough to wish for world peace.. FIGHT FOR WHAT IS YOURS and i hope i didnt offended any one by my opinion

it is going to be very easy.. they have the numbers BUT.. the turkish army had trouble taking cyprus when there was no army to defend cyprus everyone was running and they still had trouble! imagine today that we have weapons and can fight back? they where sinking their own ships getting scared lol they are very bad army men who probably dont use guns properly.. they would come to try anything and we would wipe the floor with them!

i am glad you feel that way fig. :) nice to know ur not for anti unity

We all deplore the Holocuast committed by the Nazis against the Jews and other groups (Gypsies , Homosexuals and the others who weren't part of their supposed Ayrian super race).

But should we also not spare minute today to also honour the Palestinians who are in the midst of their own holocaust being commited by the Israelis??

Certainly. :)

An International Day of Remembrance for all Oppressed Peoples of the world.

... We may find that one particular offender crops up regularly when it comes to ethnic cleansing and genocide ....

Wikipedia attributes four genocides to the ottomans:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocides_in_history#Ottoman_Empire.2FTurkey

I invite whoever has serious time on their hands to browse through the wikipedia discussion pages for these articles

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Armenian_Genocide
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Assyrian_Genocide
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Greek_genocide

which are tens to in one case perhaps a hundred times longer than the article itself, and are of course full of apologists (probably turkish embassy staff around the world) trying to get the articles deleted or changed.

Ha ha ha please stop me rolling around on the ground laughing, it isn't April the first yet is it,

The rump (arse) of Cyprus take on Turkey hey little boy you had your arses tanned last time this time you might just find yourselves swimming back to your desired homeland next time . only they don't want you they have enough problems paying the bills without your little problems.

Best laugh Ive had this year.
Must go lots to do today prunning the olive trees, starting to paint our 5 bedroom house, cleaning the swimming pool, we bought it at a very reasonable price as well.

In the old adage 'if you think your hard eneough.....'
