no they did not wake up just one day and decide to invade and send troops to the island of cyprus to by force split it in two, they spent over 10 years planning to split cyprus in two and theiy government who put the TMT group to plant bombs on the turkush doorstep to cause problems..
infact when the turkish first arrived to cyprus they killed 20,000 for no reason because they where happy they had taken over the island so easily. it wa s along plan not just on the day..
