It really is sad situation all round...with both sides crying about each others propaganda...until this stops, i doubt a unified island is possible...but maybe with time and patience...? With each passing generation, it becomes a little easier, as memories slowly fade...time is as they say a great healer. I love Cyprus, and i love the Cypriot culture, and i hope one day, when the shouting dies down...all will be forgiven on both sides.

You just posted a turkish article about the 11 year genocide on the tc's and the peace-loving turkish operation of 1974 and you're now complaining about people posting propaganda?

Do you know the GC casualties?
Do you know the number of GC girls raped by your soldiers?
Did you hear they just uncovered ANOTHER mass grave of GC's last month, the biggest ever?

You chose to not mention any of these and instead concentrated on the "atrocity" being conducted against the tc's because we do not allow the sale of GC homes to foreigners?

You need to take a look at yourself first before you come here preaching about propaganda.

Start by doing what your leaders refused to reciprocate to the Cypriot President. Express your sorrow and remorse at the atrocities that have been conducted against the GC's.

Then you can preach all you like.

I haven't once said that the tc's are innocent in this, what i said was that gc's were not innocent either!! I am sorry for what the Turkish Army (allegedly) did...but you must also realise that the gc's weren't so squeaky clean either!! You post stuff here all the time, which i think is propaganda and which hurts me and mine too...it's not nice is it when you get to see it too is it??

allegedly? they raped little girls of 13 to 56 years old made the pregnant !!! went for villages that had no tcs and no violence 6 years before the invasion and even after sampson was over thrown they sent more troops after the first cease fire abandoned the peace operation line and demanded territorial changes, it was never about saving tcs because turkey is killing off tcs now anyway. and by ignoring the laws as they always do it meant no country will ever recognise them in a million years... i am all for tc rights Daisy but i am against the turkish mainlanders settlers and the army and lines and needing passports.. and i am not alone and tcs agree with me.. sure the majority does not want it but it gives me hope to know there are tcs i know in person and online who agree with peace not in the form of two states
