Err, we're not Greeks dude... we're Cypriots so go file your complaint with the perpetrator.

Have a read of what your ancestors did for sport:

Bet you can't wait for that memorial to be built out Fairfield way!

Shit happens in war. That is only one side of the story and has not been proven by any one. Turks are not good at propaganda or lobbying governments.

cheers.

daisy may, i hope that you will continue writing too.

in a year or two, if the impasse continues, do go back to your posts to see if you've grown, you will be surprised.

...many of us have.

the turks stopped at nicosia by the way because going further would have exposed them to a fight they could not have won. the result they have is a colony which can never be anything else. fortunately, as we have seen with the case of the Orams, international politics has not corrupted the Principals of Justice that States (rather than Governments) hold dear.

if you have the courage, think, and remember the world has changed so much from that time in the sixties when niggers hung from trees even in a great country like the USA. our responsibility as "greeks" and as "turks" is to act against the Ignorance which is not the exclusive domain of any ethnic origin. your family suffered, so too so many others, but it was not in vain if in your heart there is the Grace to say, i choose to be a loving person, i embrace the change which i must make within myself to overcome fear.

whether you are a believer in God or not, there is the way; we should never forget that.

...so, it's not the tosh of one side or the other, it's just tosh.

However, as long as there are posters like some on this forum, who resort to name calling, insults, and posting with no logic or credibility, then the situation in Cyprus will not change for a long time.
