I've just spent the afternoon with some of my friends and family, and it was refreshing to hear them finally speaking up for themselves, and talking about getting their own land back...finally...complacency is over...looks like the gloves are coming off...and as the land in the south is worth more than the north...i wonder who will come up smelling of roses!!! hehehe

Actually, just for the record, i am a turkish cypriot who has been educated in the UK...and am more than aware of what happened...and accept that disgusting have happened ON BOTH SIDES!! The turks were gearing up for the intervention because they saw what the greeks were doing...this sort of action needs planning...

It's really amusing seeing you all getting verbally nasty and spiteful...is it really that difficult to speak like a human being??

Yes both sides did things. but ultimatly turkey is the one that put the tmt to place bombs and started the war.. and the ones in favour of enosis did not help either so yes both sides did wrong..

the main thing is to put all this behind and try look for a solution that benefits us both and a way we can live together with accusing the other side of whatever they did..
