for the mathematically challenged...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

for the mathematically challenged...

and I am not one that mentions names, but knucklehead should pay special attention with his 2.5%...

MAP 01 the population and area the tcs covered

Image

MAP 02 dispels the 2.5% myth that the knucklehead is mumbling about...

Image

MAP 03 clearly shows the are the tcs were occupying prior to '74 at about 15% and under...again knucklehead should pay special attention, even though I do not expect much more that a 9 second attention span...

Image

now what I would like to see is the 2.5% the knucklehead was talking about...WHAT?...

I believe this thread will go down in history.

Yfred's calculation of how he got to 2.5% needs to be honoured with a nobel prize in hallucinogenic mathematics.

How many times do I have to tell you. one seventh of 28% is 4%, include in that the adjustments required to fix the size of the sample and you get 2.5 %. I told you I wish you were around in those days an you dodge dodge the bullets an measure it to your hearts content, like I did, when your brave eoka was firing at me.

Seriously though, its these kind of theories that make light entertainment out of the real misery these people were forced to live due to TMT and GC extremists sharing a policy of segregation.

Yfred I'll say it again, you only harm your community by being on this forum.

Excellent clarification with those maps Boomerang. :D

What he did in fact, was also highlight how little habitable land was available to the GCs.

If you take away the British Bases (larger than now) which were not not available to GCs, and the fact the bulk left in the mid-West Coast was mountainous/arid ... it in fact demonstrates the hardship the rest of the (~90%) of the population had to endure for these TCs compliant with TMT tactics by usurping prime land in which to practice lawlessness.

Boomerang .... you should do another map removing the Bases, the TC enclaves and the most inhospitable bits of Cyprus left to GCs so that YFred can see how cleverly they chose the best bits of Cyprus for themselves, once again.

I say old chap, shame I was there and survived to tell you about it.
TMT blockaded food stuffs did they you pillock.
Carry on enosising, but don't forget your membership fee is coming up for eoka-crap, must keep up the old family tradition, what?
But the ammazing thing is you are doing a great job here promoting enosis/Taksim. Keep up the good work and TCs can't wait to begin to live with such lovely people.
And pigs fly, so long as they stay in the southern air space we are ok, what?,
