The turkey one is very similar and since they give their lives to turkey then using the turkish one should be fine.

they do but Admin has rules and he /she will not change them. just as the cy44 forum owner does not even let us post without banning us and is totally pro turkish nothing ever happens to them no matter what they say.. i dont like it at all thats why i never join...

I am not trying to say dont join but rules are rules. some of the gcs might not like not being able to use the eoka flag or some other rules but we respect the rules no matter if we do not agree with it.

Since this forums is way more tolerant than the cyprus44 forums you should be more than glad to post here. Now instead of coming in here and giving advice to everyone go to your cy44 forums give them some advice and rules how to be more tolerant when GCs go post in their forums. in a word Yes... just like we live with the 44 forum rules and the ones we might not like here. but they have the option to use the turkish one so they have that.

if i was in their position and the Greek flag was basically the same as the Cypriot and the Cypriot was banned i would just use the Greek.. no harm

Still, when a person's freedom to choose a particular avatar has been denied, it does not exactly send a good signal...

If you don't like the rules you can always bugger off. Start your own forum with your own rules and you can choose any bloody avatar you like. Just don't expect to come onto a Cyprus forum - as a non-Cypriot - and make demands. If people tell you they find the "trnc" flag offensive and provocative then you should have the goddamn decency to respect their feelings. It is not about you and what you want.
