TRNC flag for an avatar.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Should the TRNC flag be allowed as an avatar?

Do not confuse nationhood with statehood. Plenty of nations without states have their own flag i.e. Uighurs, Palestinians, Tibetans etc. To deny the TRNC flag could be interpreted by some as denying Turkish Cypriots to their own sense of nationhood, which though you may disagree with, is still entirely their right.

Either have both, or have no flags at all.

Palio I guess it is because of this forum rule:

# English is the only language allowed - You may post phrases or words in other languages only if an accurate translation is provided within the same post.

If we cannot agree a solution then thats what will happen, its happened physically and will after more GC rejections at worst the status quo will continue.

If you read the forum rules you will see there is a rule that stipulates everything should be in English, if we are not allowed our flag then you should not be allowed a signature in Greek.

my point exactly.. you feel you as tcs should have say what happens.. there is also the option of we cant work out a solution so turks go home right? why does the non solution have to benefit the turkish side..

you put plans of partition and because we reject it you say the punishment must be partition so its either partition or partition.. and thats not being EQUALS in cyprus as you say gcs would do to tcs.. and infact turks are trying to do worse to gcs.

ok then i will change it to something with a translation or just something english but for the record when i asked you nicely please stop posting the trnc flag you did it anyway and posted it even more ignoring me.. but i do it out of respect and because it bothers you. so next time when your about to post a trnc flag that is not allowed here think about it before you press submit.

yes it represents tcs and your invaded north but greek is also my language and not english. so you get what you give.

Do not confuse a nation with a territory that has been annexed by force and declared illegal under international law.

The Palestinians and Tibetans are victims of aggression. They have not declared a state on territory which does not legally belong to them.
