How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You really worked up quite a sweat, Jack.

THE TURKS HAVE A CLEAR PATTERN OF OPPRESSION TOWARD RELIGIOUS AND ETHNIC MINORITIES. THE TURKS MUST ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR LONG HISTORY OF PERSECUTING OTHER PEOPLE. THE TURKS INVENTED ETHNIC CLEANSING (long before the world had a word for it) IN THEIR TREATMENT OF THE ARMENIANS. ONLY AFTER APOLOGIZING FOR THEIR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY WILL THE TURKISH NATION AND HER PEOPLE BE ABLE TO MOVE FORWARD.

THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!

EMU IS A VERY STRANGE UNIVERSITY. IT CHOSE TO HONOR A MAN (RICHARD L. JUDD, EX-PRESIDENT OF CCSU) WHOSE OWN BOSS (CHANCELLOR WILLIAM CIBES) SAID THAT HIS OP-ED PIECE ON CYPRUS WAS A CLEAR ACT OF PLAGIARISM. PLAGIARISM IS INTELLECTUAL THEFT! NO DOUBT THE TURKS WHO STOLE GC PROPERTIES FEEL COMFORT AND KINSHIP WITH A MAN WHO COMMITTED INTELLECTUAL THEFT.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER. A THIEF OF ANY STRIPE IS STILL A THIEF.

Unlike you I am a happy person. You freely engage in namecalling beginning with your response to my first post. How easily you use the word racist. It's ironic that a Turk should accuse other people of racism.

YOU ARE THE RACIST! YOUR TURKISH ANCESTORS COMMITTED THE FIRST GENOCIDE OF THE 20TH CENTURY.

You should recite to yourself every night before going to bed " MY TURKISH FATHERS COMMITTED GENOCIDE" and ASK ALLAH FOR FORGIVENESS.

Wrong. The Ottoman Empire was the most tolerant of all empires with regard to religious and ethnic minorities. How else can you explain that it allowed the Greek Orthodox Church to be its “manager” on Cyprus, collect taxes and get rich, the richest organisation on the island. No attempt was made to convert subject people to Islam. Compare this with all Christian empires. Of course the Macedonian, Alexander the Great, conquered half the known world with a handshake at each border he crossed. It was just unfortunate that hundreds of thousand were slain or sold off as slaves. If you have a few months to spare, read Richard Hovanissian’s 3-volume History of Armenia. You will find that the Armenians were back-stabbers, terrorists who engaged in a civil war. The fact that disease killed millions in Eastern Anatolia is claimed as a massacre. More Turks than Armenians were killed or died. Seems a funny genocide where the oppressor loses more people than the victim. Armenians in Western Anatolia would have been a much easier target if ethnic cleansing had been the aim of the Young Turks. The use of a scapegoat was well known to the Athenian dramatists. Looks like the Greeks still do.

Even the most civilised people have committed atrocities and genocides and barbaric acts against humanity. The USA has a number on its plate, Greeks are not excluded from this list. Orhan Pamuk, the Turkish writer who wrote about the Armenian and Kurdish genocides has been pursecuted by the authorities. However, he is a Turkish writer who dares to be honest and transparent. I do not know of any Greek writer who wrote about the atrocities committed by the Greeks, for example in Tropolitsa, or the destruction of the Tsamides and the Jews. What about the gypsies (Roma) and the Greek Slavo Macedonians who are not allowed to speak their language?

Unlike you I am an American by birth. Unlike Turkey, we have freedom of speech. Just ask Turkish novelist Orhan Pamuk. You are very adept at looking through a keyhole with BOTH eyes.

The Anglos share the Ottoman/Turkish trait of oppressing weaker people. The African Americans know all too well what the English/Americans are capable of doing. Here is a clue for you: SLAVERY.

You frequently use profanity in your replies to my posts. Is that due to an inability to find the right words to express yourself in English or is it due to a personality/character defect?

Why does Turkey desperately want to join a "racist club" as you call the EU? The Turkey that exists now may not be around in 10 years as the Kurds carve out the eastern part for the creation of Kurdistan.

YOU HAVE A CHOICE. CHOOSE THE PATH OF ENLIGHTENMENT or CONTINUE AS A DOMUZ WALLOWING IN YOUR SLIME AND MUD.

I call upon all G/Cs to apologise on behalf of those G/Cs who committed atrocities in the years 1963-1974 against T/Cs, and all T/Cs to apologise on behalf of the turkish army who committed atrocities against G/Cs in 1974.
This is the real test.Lets see how many of us have the guts.

First you refer to Americans as filth now you sound like you're a proud to be American. What's it going to be tomorrow? Please try to be more consistent in your hatred of people.

That's quite an endictment coming from an ESEK (look it up in your dictionary) sporting oversized blinders, "Jack".

Why do you need to use bold characters? Are you afraid people will not notice you, that you will be ignored?
