Suggested warning letter to HSBC et al

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Absolutely normal. If it can dodge the political cost it will always go for the financial reward.

The question is that the penalties will be difficult to dodge.

Thats how much HSBC values doing business with Cyprus


Then, perhaps HSBC might now prefer conducting some business in the relevant courts. An initial warning shot is certainly in order; a high profile scalp worth securing ASAP.

Only if it is tresspassing on GC land right now. I think it might be wise to check it out first.
