Why has it taken you until now to decide to make a protest to the international businesses operating in the TRNC? Some of them have been there for many years. I have to admit that the first time I went North and saw how many familiar names have businesses there, it did give me the impression that all the 'embargo' and 'isolation' and 'restrictions on trade' stuff was to a large extent propoganda and that other countries were just not taking much notice of it. Bit like the flights there from countries who won't fly 'direct'. They still fly there. If they objected on moral grounds or out of some sense of justice or outrage they wouldn't would they?

I think they just weren't fully aware of the legal implications. But don't worry, we'll fix that now.

How do I know this? Their landlord is my landlord and he asked me to pass a message on to you guys. It looked a bit like the Churchill salute, but the other way around.

What makes you think its ok to stay in someone's property illegally and get away with it just because you don't stay in it now?

Again thanks for the info, I thought there was nothing to pin on HSBC but your landlord mate has really helped us out here.
