What the TCs really want.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Fri Jul 02, 2004 9:10 pm

Piratis, I suggest you tell everybody here what the real, pragmatic alternative to the A plan is.

You don't get it, do you? I repeat: Nothing can be worst than the Annan plan.

What we hope and we will fight for ('we' doesn't include you of course) is a fair solution that will make Cyprus a democratic, independent country where human rights are respected.

You can say that what I am asking for is not real. Thats your opinion, but I disagree. Nobody knows how the situation will be in 5 or 10 years from now. What is not real today, might be real tomorrow.

But lets think very pessimistic for a moment and assume the worst case scenario will become reality and the "TRNC" is recognized. Such thing will be extremely bad, but not as bad as the Annan plan.

I will repeat it once more, maybe you remember this time:
Nothing can be worst than the Annan plan.

If you like the A plan, good for you. We don't like it, and we do not accept it. ok?

in case you are also suffering from football paroxysm, let me remind you that the real world is not a game.

What was that about? You got so disappointed that Greece passed to the final or what??

I would also like to hear your views on the 1919 invasion of Turkey by Greece. Was it an invasion or a peace operation?

1919???? If you like to go back, then maybe we should start from the 14th century? Or we could even start from 1100BC.

Are you saying that you consider the Turkish invasion as a peace operation?? I said something about you before, and the more I read things from you the more I realize how that initial judgment was right.

Now I get it. Partition, you are saying, is nothing as bad as the A plan. Who kows, you are also saying, in ten years time things might be better. Bingo! You have just made a fantastic political analysis. You also prefer the "TRNC" to be recognise rather than accept the A plan. The label of a traitor is an honorary title when it comes from you.

And, you also think 1919 was a long time ago. You are probably clueless as to what happeened then but it does not matter. Or is it another convenient way for avoiding the issue, I wonder?

I guess it wouldn't be so honorary if it came from the Turks ah?

And, you also think 1919 was a long time ago. You are probably clueless as to what happened then but it does not matter. Or is it another convenient way for avoiding the issue, I wonder?

And the issue is? That you are trying to blame our side for everything? What does the 1919 has to do with 1974 and 2004? What is your aim? What are you trying to achieve?
You even avoided to answer to this:
Are you saying that you consider the Turkish invasion as a peace operation??

And then you complain that I call you traitor
