The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword !

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The TCs on this forum have been stating as long as I have been on CF that the world is getting bored with the GC stance and they will eventually give the TC their dream.

Indeed, Milti is correct, and the world has ruled against you and put your partitionist aims to death.

So when is the Turkish Army going to leave?

Unless someone is willing to enforce UN resolutions, then the Cyprus Problem will continue.

When the RoC proves to the world there is no such thing as a TC.

I also heard on TC make mention that 95% of the government in northen Cyprus was held by TCs.

Do you think that the RoC is dumb enough to think that it would be anything other than this?

This artificial majority only exists in a dumb Turk attempt to dupe the international community into believing this falicy.

Any sane person who realise that in a normal democracy, where the TCs represent a tiny fraction of the population in the north, this is simply cannot be true and is a set-up and a lie.

If there was a true democracy in the north the TCs would not even get a look in - and taking the Turk illusion into account, they probably do not.

You don't make any sense.

Furthermore, you need to realize that we already have partition right now. You also need to understand that Turkey will remain in Cyprus up until it achieves certain objectives.

The sooner Cypriots come to terms with reality, the sooner the better, otherwise hathikate oli.

The Turks will even accept one man one vote in let's say 20 years time, and it will be the GCs asking for democratic derogations.

That's what happens when you're too stupid to think strategic.

A curious situation Me Ed.

... and a very curious electorate, one that votes in referendums that effects the Free Areas. A year or two back a body of the EU did say that it wanted to see a proper census of the northern electorate and its composition before any possible next referendum.

It looks like Paphitis’ Aphrodite movement isn’t doing too well so he’s decided to join Bananiot’s, with VP having a premature ejaculation on the side!

Bananiot is at least in touch with reality but his opinions about the Annan Plan or other such "peace initiatives" are not the answer. It seems that Cypriots on this forum have no idea about what Cyprus will face in a few years time. But it's not really your fault either, because the Cyprus Government also does not know what to do only because Greece itself does not have the stomach to stand up to Turkey as a 'nation' which is equipped and capable of doing so. If Greece is unwilling or is scared to call Turkey's bluff by claiming it's rightful 12nm territorial seas, which Turkey deems to be an act of war, then Turkey will make even more outrageous claims in the future, and we see this right now.

The Aphrodite movement is going just fine for those real Cypriots, and Greeks who are actually capable of seeing past their nose, and for those Cypriots who understand the need for a real Cypriot identity, and for those Cypriots who place Cyprus before anything else. They are a minuscule minority but things will change over time.

Sometimes reality hurts us. But pragmatism is a requirement when facing Turkey. Greece must behave like a nation capable of protecting it's interests in the Aegean and further a field, otherwise Cypriots should tell them that they are a bunch of gypsy cowards that has only done Cyprus much damage and will continue to be a liability well into the future unless some miracle happens and it starts to take some responsibility. They have enough fire power to behave like an assertive nation but are too stupid to be dealing with Turks.

It is very good to see that Paphitis in Australia knows more about the geopolitical situation in the eastern Mediterranean than those of us that live here!
