palio mou, im learning greek thro Pimsleur Greek,, its all proper Greek,

im working in a Cypriot company and im the only one who doesnt speak Greek there

so listening to all those conversation all day 5 days a week i get to catch some bits from here and there,

about the writing, im trying to learn how to read and write greek, different sounds, specialy letter E with can be many things in greek like the letter that looks like n, E,H,EY, and sounds like au=f etc

in work i deal with lots of greek decuments, and i can sort of get by by only reading but most of the time i dont understand it..
.. im trying hard tho and sooner or later ill speak greek easily

your Greek is better then some of the forumers here who claim to be cypriot ;p maybe all the years in england made them forget their greek.

well the au is more live a V sound.. aurio/avrio the eu is more F

what language is your first language? tell me a few words
