AID CAMPAIGN FOR GUZELYURT

Bayrak Radio Television Corporation quick to launch an aid campaign to help heal the wounds of flood disaster in the Guzelyurt region.

The corporation will be the centre for all aid campaigns to be launched for flood victims. Bayrak Radio Television Corporation – the voice of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus – has become the centre for the aid campaigns launched to help the victims of the flood disaster.

Yesterday, an aid campaign, `We are with you, Guzelyurt`, was launched ,
Within the framework of the campaign, donations will be collected for the victims of the floods during special programs to be broadcast on BRT.
Meanwhile, Turkcell and Telsim mobile owners can support the campaign by sending an empty text message to 4142, as part of a campaign jointly launched by BRT and TRNC Red Crescent.

Donations can also be made to bank accounts opened by BRT at all banks operating in the Republic.
BRT Television will be airing a special program on Friday, the 29th of January, during which funds will be raised for the Guzelyurt region.

Announcing the launch of fund raising campaigns, BRT Director Ozer Kanli called on the TRNC people, civil society organizations and institutions to support the campaigns.
`It is time to unite. It is time to give Guzelyurt a helping hand `, he said.

Make sure you clean it up good. The legal owners expect a professional job. So no slacking. You will be held responsible.

I wouldn't use any international banks also operating in the north to transfer money across as they may be trespassing on Cypriot-refugee land and will urgently be looking to pull out before the inevitable writs are served.
