Let’s give Guzelyurt a helping hand…

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

So you and VP are suggesting we should not seek legal redress in the international courts otherwise Turkey will unleash the Grey Wolves against us? At least we know where we stand. Not that it was ever in doubt. Of course, all the terrorism and murder will be our fault. You see how it is with you lot? Seeking justice is an act of provocation. We should accept a solution on your terms otherwise you will kill us. Thanks. And Turkey wants to join the EU because it is so democratic and civilised. What a bunch of fucking barbarians...

Not at all old chap. Jus be aware of the actions and what they really result in.
Your mentality was applied by the un on Iraq sanctions. It was legal and proper but the desired effect was not there. It did not remove him or his regime. Instead it hurt the ordinary folk.
You are making the same mistake. You think it will give you an advantage and sooner or later you will realise that it will not, in the mean time the damage you do will have consequences. The world is riddled with such stupidity. Who would have said that the killing of 13 unarmed people would cause 30 year war and cost thousands of lives. Only the wise can see, the fools gloat.

We're not stupid enough to fall for Turkey's game. We haven't had to fire a single shot to bring Turkey to the negotiating table and the "TRNC" to its knees. We will use the courts and no threat of violence will deter us. We can live with Turkish threats. You lot are kidding yourselves if you think we will give in to your intimidation.

What we are faced with now is the true face of the occupation. A regional bully that threatens to lash out when it cannot get its way. Partition has failed and all that is left is the stark threat of violence against lawyers and innocent civilians. The Turkish way. Nothing changes. The TMT tactics of the 1960s all over again.

Once a barbarian...

The corporation will be the centre for all aid campaigns to be launched for flood victims. Bayrak Radio Television Corporation – the voice of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus – has become the centre for the aid campaigns launched to help the victims of the flood disaster.

Yesterday, an aid campaign, `We are with you, Guzelyurt`, was launched ,
Within the framework of the campaign, donations will be collected for the victims of the floods during special programs to be broadcast on BRT.
Meanwhile, Turkcell and Telsim mobile owners can support the campaign by sending an empty text message to 4142, as part of a campaign jointly launched by BRT and TRNC Red Crescent.

Donations can also be made to bank accounts opened by BRT at all banks operating in the Republic.
BRT Television will be airing a special program on Friday, the 29th of January, during which funds will be raised for the Guzelyurt region.

Announcing the launch of fund raising campaigns, BRT Director Ozer Kanli called on the TRNC people, civil society organizations and institutions to support the campaigns.

They have a bloody cheek the thieving buggers!

They are now stealing from rightful donations which would otherwise go to the Haiti appeal.

My comments appear to have rattled a few cages, surely you people have calculated the result of your own actions, I and many other TCs may not really believe the impact will be that great much like the loizidou ruling but there are fanatics on both sides, they maybe a minority but none the less they are a reality and think very differently from the average TC, it doesnt take much just a bomb here and there and with a few deaths and hey presto all hell will break loose, dont tell me you didnt see this coming GCs cannot be that stupid.
