Halil, why are you quoting in old Turkish Lira's? 1.6 million TRY is easier.

Sorry DT u are correct it was 1.6 million TL...... this the total of february and march wages 1% of cuts.

This "relief effort" reminds me of the stuff I recently read about Denktash who was in a position to stop the Brits killing those (7) TCs but chose to let them die because their deaths would be useful to him in the future.

Although this is tame by what we understand as "disasters" (even in the UK there have been much worse) this mere small overflow in occupied Morphou, with no loss of life, has been turned into political propaganda of, sadly, disgustingly high proportions.

So ... NO ... do not give any donations to this pathetic appeal. It's timeliness is indicative of the Turks' usual modus operandi which is to steal the thunder from someone else's tragedy (Haiti) to capitalise for themselves. Harlots.

I am sickened and disgusted to the core by these TCs and their habits.

Go to hell ...

Morphou is NOT Turkish, or even exclusively TC.

There were no deaths in this "tragedy" ... only inconvenience, which is a darn sight less troublesome than it was when the GCs were forced out from their own homes by the "empathetic and compassionate" Turks.

Yep,and before that the TCs were forced out of government and into enclaves, and were continually harassed and intimidated by their "empathetic and compassionate" GC compatriots...You are following a good tradition,Oracle...And with each post you make, you make me believe more and more that the TCs are right in being afraid of you and your likes...who would want to trust you and give up the only protection they had for 36 years.... :?: :?: :?:

Dear Bir, you have quite forgotten that you should treat the disease and not just the symptoms!

Today's hatred is symptomatic of the Turkish invasion and nothing more.

Give it a rest,Oracle..Go and inform yourself of the events between 1950 and 1974,and then we will talk...But from an unbiased source, not from the ones you got your brainwashing...

What indeed? Methinks we had another, previous, Turkish invasion, and before that, yet another. This disease has been invading us, the hosts, since 1571. Yet you complain about the symptoms, "hatred" for this infection, instead of at least admitting you, the parasite invader, is the direct cause and cut some slack to the long-suffering GCs.
