oh yes them.. well the turkish cypriot who sold them their land.. wel the turkish in the north do it all the time with the support of the turkish goverment to try sell off our land so they dont have to give any of it back to the gcs who own it they thought it was cleaver thing to do now the foreigners who paid the the land are the ones to suffer. aparantly turkey will pay all their legal fees and fines.. but its likely they will not give them permission to demolish the land and ignore it and make things worse for them with the uk. thats why people should never buy land in the north yet they dont seem to care and are happy to buy stolen land asn di bet you they either know or dont care thinking the turk will protect them and nothing wont happen, because this english couple ignored the first ruling because it was in a gc court they waisted 6 years for this

This englidsh couple ow 300 per month for the time they have been living there to the cypriot who owns it and it says they will end up paying 1.3 million or so.

IMO some did know and where assured by the turkish they would be safe in the trnc .. or did not know as they claimed.. but like the orams where told to demolish the house by the GC court so they obviously KNEW sooner or later it was gc land yet they CHOSE to ignore it until england told them to get out// does that not seem a little strange? the turks tell them to ignore it and they still tried to fight for the stolen land after they KNEW it was stolen..

Pretty, you need to calm down as you are showing complete ignorance to this whole case. This didn't start yesterday, it has been running for the last 6 years, I guess you just seen it??

You need to understand it a bit more before you can start swearing at people. If you are offer a stolen cd player in the pub, do you ask to see a for sale sign?? I mean come pretty don't play the stupid here you know whats what.

This landmark decision has massive ramifications to the whole international property market, we should all be thankfull to Mr A for establishing the presedence. You have property in Cy I understand, the ruling gives you absolute protection, not that you didn't already have it, but it has guaranteed it.

well did they know it was stolen land?
how do you know they knew it was stolen land?
its all bloody horrible, i mean who really is the victim...the english and the cypriot.
but surely, if the cypriot knew deep down the land did belong to him,
and it was stolen from him in 1974, why cant anything be done about that?
because there are many brits and other nationalities im sure who would buy stolen land and not know it.
it muat be heart wrenching to work so hard all your bloody life to have it all took away just like that.
