Well, yes, why not. There are shelters in various places in Cyprus bursting to the seams with dogs and puppies waiting to be adopted. A lot of them may eventually have to be put down if they cannot be re-homed. For example, there is the Sirius Dog Sanctuary in Limassol, tel. 97780779 (English language). I think there must be a sanctuary closer to Larmaca, too.

well appartently i hear english people are leaving their dogs locked up in their houses for long periods of time at the moment.
you could always be a good samaritan and rescue one of these?
all you have to do is break in to the property and take the pet after all you will be saving its life...apparently so and also it will be free.
you may want to look out for the dog sitter who will im sure pop in to do the dog run and check on them and feed them, i say this just incase she bites :wink:

I've got one you can have for free but he won't be available for a few months, very obedient though, does many tricks like pretending to speak English... almost human like, but not quite toilet trained yet…
