You will need to post credible evidence of the 33%, and for "pushed them off the land" on the CF or your post is worthless.

Did I imagine it or did a Turkish poster use the term "ethnic cleansing"? Strange how Turkey to this day refuses to acknowledge its responsibility for the Armenian genocide and yet its supporters are quick to accuse others of such crimes. Both sides on Cyprus suffered during the inter-communal clashes. It does your argument no good to exaggerate Greek abuses, to minimise Turkish ones and to put neither into context. In reality the only systematic large-scale orchestrated action in Cyprus which can be termed a crime against humanity is the ethnic cleansing carried out against 200,000 Greek Cypriots by the Turkish army in 1974.

Turks are very keen to use the term "ethnic cleansing" against Greek Cypriots to justify the Turkish invasion. Yet somehow the systematic and well-documented attempt to extinguish the Armenian people by Turkey is dismissed by most Turks as one of those things which happen in wartime. In reality the modern Turkish state is one of the most active and notorious proponents of ethnic cleansing. The "TRNC" is evidence of that continuing policy.

The Turkish demand for "taksim" or partition (instigated by the notorious actions of the TMT) played a significant role in the communal clashes of the 1960s and was the real reason for the 1974 invasion. Turkish Cypriots are still using the same old tactics and propaganda from the 1960s. Forgetting their role in the violence and blaming the Greek Cypriots for everything to justify the Turkish policy of partition on the island. It is a tired old strategy. It is time to give it up.

One last thing. In your post you claim that Turkish Cypriots owned "33 per cent of the island". This is total bollocks. The Turkish community amounted to roughly 15-18 percent of the population. So where on earth you get this figure from I can only put down to hysterical exaggeration. Much like the rest of your post.

Famagusta ! Driven from the farming lands into the old city. Paphos latchi polis driven out you can still see old farming vehicles abandoned. Have a look at this video of Sampson claiming that he had 98% of the land under Turkish Cypriot control since 1963. Its 6min and 12 seconds into the video.
Tell me he did not know what he was talking about.
