personal details of carpetbaggers

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Medview used to have a list on display in their offices over there - showing the names of the purchasers of properties on the Hilltop development! I remember a bit of a furore about that on one of the 'Northern' websites lol!

Just go on facebook and join any "trnc" expat group. They're all there, with addresses, pictures, phone numbers and you
ll also know if one of them feels "slightly empty today" with one of their twitters.

It's bloody cheap at half the price.

Sounds a good deal as the 100K per person is obviously referring to the old Turkish Lira when they were a few million to the pound, old chap!

Having just read Viewpoint's suggestion on http://www.cyprus-forum.com/viewtopic.p ... c&start=24 about how we should be targeting foreign companies, which sounds very good to me, I would like to add this source of information to the pool:

http://www.cypyp.com/yellowg.htm

Yellow Pages for the occupied area.

Even the websites that are 'unavailable' right now can be seen if you know what you are looking for and use Google Cache.

There might be a lot of bravado being expressed by some Brit buyers on the public websites supporting the TRNC, but it is a totally different picture being painted on the individual development property owner forums (where they assume only other owners on the same development can see what they are saying) Those formed solely for owners of property over there. (Most of those used to be 'open' to anyone too - but they started battening them down and partitioning them off due to bickering - from what I could see it was usually bickering about stuff like WHO was using their communal pool) They appear to be bricking it big time on those.

I say, keep up with the news old man, that particular currency formation has been unavailable for some time, for me no money, only gold. Dig?

If you nip into any of the struggling small supermarkets and shops over in the North, they will change up ANY currency for you - including happily accepting Cyp£ before the Euro. They'd probably take bananas or camels in some - only too glad to have a customer.

Now there is a bright spark if ever I saw one. Careful now.

I suggest you go back and mull over the gaffe you made on the other thread. Where you quote me as saying what YOU said and then responded to it! lol! Priceless!
