Just a few points for clarification:
1. My name is ismet as always and I use the name "elko" here, not "elco", it must be too much British influence on you showing its effect in a very subtle way.
2. Every club has its rules and one of the major rule of the other forum is that members must not question the validity of TRNC. If you don't like it you do not join it, as simple as that, not necessarry to use vulgar language which only reflects on its user.
3. Yes I am a Turkish Cypriot and what is more I am even a Paphian, from Ktima actually. I have no qualms about what others may like to call me, no problem there. As you know Turks in Thrace call themselves Turks but oh no, they are not allowed to say that, they are Moslem minority as defined by international treaties. Forget the treaties, its what people actually feel where they belong. I know that most Greek Cypriots are very quick and very keen to accuse others of racism when in fact you are one of the most racist lot in the world. Just think about it.
4. Proof about the lunatic assylum? Your posts are sufficient proof of this, need I say any more?

What a shame, he was almost there if it was not for the TRNC. Nothing to worry about. You've got a nerve talking about forum rules. You banned me yourself from CY44. Why? Because I said the UK immigration officer who refused your mainland Turkish daughter-in-law entry to Britain was simply doing his job. Your farewell message to me was: "ANOTHER GC FANATIC".

Let's face it, you make money out of the cheapskates and carpetbaggers like any other TC who needs to survive, so you tell them what they want to hear. So many of them are that stupid and ignorant that they wouldn't know any differently anyway. Miltiades, my friend, every club has its own rules and if you do not like them you do not join. As simple as that. I did not set it up and hence I see no reason why I should be in the position to defend those rules but bear in mind that C44 is a commercial site and no.1 priority is to attract more business.
The resemblance to a lunatic assylum is based on thge fact that every serious argument put forward here rapidly detiorates into vulgar insults. For example look at my thread on Orams and the Kangaroo Courts which I started today and you will see how vulgar some of the replies are. Linda Orams is not a participator in this thread but people are putting all sorts of vegetables and fruits up her so and so. Do you see what I mean? This forum has amply deserved that description.

Elko , we do have a sense of humour too . We put up with garbage on occasions from a wide spectrum pf postees . We can laugh at them , take the piss or simply ridicule their feeble efforts to engage in a debate that will be more than likely challenged by the more hardened debaters .
On this forum I have challenged on numerous occasions extreme views directed at the G/Cs or , and I have to conceit here more towards the T/Cs.
Every one knows , I told them enough times , that I consider the T/Cs to be my compatriots and without a shadow of a doubt equal in every sense to all other Cypriots. Where I draw the line for both G/Cs and T/Cs is when the reject Cyprus in favour of either Greece or Turkey.
Back to the novices forum now , the senile old fools who post anti RoC PURE NONSENSE , do so because they believe that they might sooner than later they maybe faced with the nightmare of the Orams.

You specifically refer to the RoC as the dark side !!! I doubt anyone questions the 'validity of the UK' but they are free to CRITICISE it, criticise the government, legal system, welfare system. Criticise rogue builders (hell, they devote whole TV series to them!)

You do not have to 'question the validity of the TRNC' to get booted off CY44. You merely have to mildly question any ex pat Brit who bought property there as to whether they enquired about the validity of their title, or complain that some dodgy builder or other took your money and ran to get your thread locked and yourself cast out forever.

It's obvious that the 'once you join you can never leave' rule is in place purely to impress potential paying advertisers with the size of the member list. I doubt they are given a breakdown of just how many actually USE the site (or are allowed to). I think it's a bit bloody much to use the name and membership of someone who is banned from using the site to bolster the image of the site.

It is touted as primarily a site offering advice and information about the TRNC yet many of the 'general info' pages are woefully out of date, and some even inaccurate.

Quite recently someone pointed out that the latest news on the Orams on CY44 stated that the case was waiting to be heard on appeal in 2006 lol!

I suppose any update on that gem would have counted as a mild criticism of something or other being rotten in the state of TRNC and could therefore have got the site owner (who I guess must have posted the info) banned for life?
