Apostolides lawyer: we’ll target tourists next
According to Candounas, his latest client has the details of 60 cases of tourists who stayed at the Dome Hotel. “They have their names, addresses, dates, and places where their documents can be served; the full works,” he said.

The lawyer said he was “pretty confident” that his clients stood a chance following the positive ruling in the Apostolides case.

Asked whether there was a difference between living and holidaying on Greek Cypriot property, Candounas replied: “The Apostolides case was not about the house built or bought, it was about people occupying the land: trespassing. It would have made no difference if the Orams were renting the place – we mind them being there.”

MP, this is going to be tricky to enforce. getting them whilst tresspassing is one thing, but after the event????

the same could be said for all those crossing, perhaps this is a good enough reason for the RoC to close the crossing point, to 'protect' unsuspecting visitors.

What about the GCs going to casinos, hell, we should shoot them.

Anyway, i think this is a long shot, as much as I would like to think it is possible.

There were a number of British newspapers which were offering holidays to lovely, "unspoilt" "Northern Cyprus" as prizes ... I guess they are responsible for those "prizewinners" trespassing.

I had a run-in with one of the editors who refused to believe they were encouraging innocent, ignorant Joe-public to visit this illegal entity.

The GCs are raising the stakes. I just read Bill's Dome hotel piece and arresting people in LCA. This is beligerance of a really high order, you and I, all of us know there are GCs living and using TC land, prospering from their assets, but due to politically influenced situations being formed as all out assault is being called for??
