Orams will implement the court orders

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby boulio » Thu Jan 21, 2010 4:33 pm

the property issue should never have been part of a solution, the individuals should have the right to there properties even after a solution.

how does t/c security and political representation in a federal govt get affected by who ownes a house in lapithos?

The old geezer above hasn’t done his homework… it seems to be a recurring theme with these uneducated carpetbaggers!

After the period granted to the Orams for compliance has expired, Apostolides can then put in a claim to enforce the judgment. I posted a High Court link to this procedure elsewhere.

Now whether the restitution funds come from the sale of the UK house or some other source doesn’t matter a long as the Orams somehow pay up, and also knock the house down in Cyprus.

The Orams case (and many others) prove that the property issue can not be solved by an agreed political solution. Individuals own their properties, not the state!

My guess is they will bugger off to the north and stay there in the hope that they are untouchable. If Talat does not pay their bill I guess the house in UK will be taken away from them.

PS you forgot to bid for Frank's villa.

Better make sure it's not Greek owned. Don't want to have them back up before the judge...

If they haven’t got kids in the UK or indeed in the EU, then they may well do just that!

Do they accept the Nigerian currency? I’ve got this ousted Prince who keeps bugging me to accept his millions… :?
