How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Whats up PD, C44 still down so you have to try here.

If your land is pre '74, good on you, but surely you are not excusing the other carpetbaggers are you? because if you do, you are guilty by association and just as bad.

Why not give us your name and address we are collecting info for the GC legal owner who want to issue writs. if you are pre '74 as you say you'll have nothing to fear.

So scurry back and tell all you little cheapskates that we are onto them, they can hide bihind the 40,000 turkish troops but the long arm of the law can still reach them. Further more, what will they do when the troops leave???

Have a nice day.

affordable prices because someone kicked the owner out of their house to sell it that cheap. maybe some one should come to your house kick you out and then sell it see how you like it.. see if you still show off that your house is being sold at affordable prices..

so safe in the illegal state run by the Mafia.. yes like the turks give a crap about you.

Some Brits are still maintaining they have nothing to worry about at all as their properties were built on 'exchange land'.

I don't know exactly what that means. Or whether the Orams bought on 'exchange land'.

But I thought the ONLY safe title over there was pre 1974 TURKISH Title, and that no other title, whatever they call it, was proper?

I don't know, but I do know that the Republic of Turkey banks which have branches in the north of Cyprus will not accept kochanis for GC property as collateral for loans, so it looks like they know something we don't.

Wrong they do, eşdeğer deeds meaning exchanged land are accepted as collateral by the majority of Turkish banks.

Not any more!

Nothing will change, banks be they TC or Turkish will continue on as normal they will not stop recognizing TRNC deeds.

Interesting! So, do these Turkish banks that accept exchange land 'trnc' deeds have offices and branches in the EU?

So, with a mortgage on such land there could be a way to chase the Turkish banks within the EU......
