Must be true then.
The Invasion of the blue and white waters of the Greeks.
It was mentioned in the above link, but I did not want to waste valuable time.
From Kibris Postasi - Hasan Hasturer:
Translation:
On the evening of the 18th January 2010, while the 'disaster' was still ongoing, without any foundation, it was said that, "the dams on the Greek side were opened".
The next day we, as a Havadis journalist went to the disaster area.
We noticed that a few people were given the duty to repeat this allegation.
We listenned with interest, and I could not help but asked politely 'oh really(acaba?)?'.
When it was seen that the allegation that the dams 'watergates' were opened held no water (pun intended) the story changed. They said , 'when the dams were nearly full, we should have been informed'.
Later we investigated and found out that there were NO dams in the ASTROMERIT area. This was also confirmed by none other than the ex-Water Works Manager, the current UBP mayor of Lefka, Mehmet Zafer.
I have no comments to make.
