hmmm sorry if im busting your balls about it. But for example can I use dreambox and skybox on the same Satellite?

Yes you can...We usually use a quad LNB on large dishes and quad LNB's have four independent outputs...you can run four boxes from one dish if you like.

iceman,thanks for your info.The dish on site already has 4 people running their boxes off it,is it possible to do any more connections?

Yes,its possible to increase the number of outputs but this will require a different LNB (Quattro) as well as a multiswitch and maybe an amp.

an amplifier will certainly need. But doesnt that depend on how new the wiring is? and thick the copper line is?

On a multiswitch system,cabling is a different..
Four cables are required between the quattro LNB & multiswitch...
All the outlets are connected to the Multiswitch not the LNB!!
