Who is the most constructive GC (NOW GC opinion)?

Postby detailer » Mon Jul 18, 2005 6:40 pm

Inspired by the alexander lordos's cross voting for senate suggestion, I am asking TC to vote for the most constructive GC in cyprus problem discussions?

Note 1: Only TC votes.

Note 2: The most constructive person not the most funny or sympathetic in the discussions is voted.

Note 3: Sorry for the people I forgot

Note 4: One-line comments are not welcome.

Note 5: I am leaving Alexander Lordos out, because he is taking an independent position anyway.

I voted for Dhavlos as he has shown a real desire for a solution and has an open mind to allow for diversity and yet respects both sides needs and wants and tries to find the middle ground, if only other members shared that honest desire for a unified Cyprus with the ability to see both sides of the coin and be a little more pragmatic in their approach.

Alexandros :D He is not only an independent human being in this forum but the most intelligent and knowledgable person as well. He has a great personality. :)

I voted for bananiot :) Bananiot has a great personality too. And a huge knowledge about the Cyprus problem. He does not only speak but practice what he says. He is one of the few who has good relationships, friendships with TCs(in real life).

What do you mean, "I am taking an independent position anyway?" Ts ts, all this trouble to get elected and now I miss my chance ... :)

No, seriously, it was right that you left me out since you are basing the poll on one of my own suggestions - therefore results would have been biased.

I think what you are doing is a great idea. You've really lifted my spirits with your initiative. :D

You are already doing a lot for the solution of cyprus problem. I think any civilian(not politician) can not do more than what you do. You are appreciated by everyone imo.

Well, what this poll has to do with the subject of the forum is a mystery to me. Yet if people like talking on personal basis, hey enjoy. I could only vote for the worst GC of the forum but thats another question. :P

In the same light as Bro' I would have voted for Dhavlos on this list. He hasn't been around long but he's demonstrated an impartiality and willingness to listen that is admirable in one so young. If Alexandros had been on the list I would have split the vote with him and I think of all GCs on this forum, he's demonstrated the greatest initiative in getting to the root causes of the Cyprus problem and trying to work out ways in which the two communities views do enmesh and can be brought together for a common solution. In that vein, I think Alexandros gives us hope for a positive present and Dhavlos gives us hope for a positive future (not that I'm saying you're past it Alexandre! :D )
