Eroglu slams Greeks for directing flood waters to Turkish Cyprus

Eroglu said directing flood waters from the Greek Cypriot side to the TRNC's regions of settlements was an inhuman behaviour.

Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Dervis Eroglu, said Tuesday directing flood waters from the Greek Cypriot side to the TRNC's regions of settlements was an inhuman behaviour.

Prime Minister Eroglu and an accompanying delegation of ministers visited the Guzelyurt region and observed the disaster caused by the flood waters that came from the Greek Cypriot administration side.

Speaking live on the Bayrak Television (BRT), Eroglu said that the TRNC faced a great disaster.

We are working to alleviate the pain of our people and to minimize the damage, Eroglu said.

Unfortunately, many homes were filled with mud and water. Many people do not have a place to sleep in, Eroglu said.

A committee is working to determine the amount of damage that was made by flood waters. A meeting to assess the situation will take place in Lefkosa in the afternoon, Eroglu said.

There is a great amount of damage that was made by flood waters in Guzelyurt. Humans in the region are in a state of panic, Eroglu said.

I thank our troops and other personnel for their efforts to help those affected by flood waters, Eroglu also said.

Let my people go

When Turkey was in Cyprus land,
Let my people go,
Oppressed so hard they could not stand,
Let my people go.

Chorus
Go down, Moses,
Way down in Cyprus's Land.
Tell ol' Turko,
Let my people go.

Thus saith the Lord, bold Moses said,
Let my people go,
If not, I'll smite your first-born dead,
Let my people go.

No more shall they in bondage toil,
Let my people go,
Let them come out with Cyprus's spoil,
Let my people go.

The Lord told Moses what to do,
Let my people go,
To lead the Cyprus children through,
Let my people go.

As Cyprus stood there once divided,
Let my people go,
At God's command it was united,
Let my people go.

Turko said he would get cross,
Let my people go,
But Turko and his host were lost,
Let my people go.

The Green Line stood up like a wall,
Let my people go,
But the walls of the Green Line did fall,
Let my people go.

Your foes shall not before you stand,
Let my people go,
And you'll possess fair Aphrodite's land,
Let my people go.

O let us all from bondage flee,
Let my people go,
And let us all in Cyprus be free,
Let my people go.

Chorus
Go down, Moses,
Way down in Cyprus's Land.
Tell ol' Turko,
Let my people go.

so then the turks should of listen to our requests to add the dams but as always they ignored it and did nothing.. its their own fault and just as much damage was done in the south.. how can turks blame us for it raining for as many hours as it did? we used our magic powers to make it rain only in the south and push it into the north? how stupid is this turkish man?

plus the turks what's the word said the damage was worse then what it really was.

and then a bunch of annoyed Turks shall bring forth the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch and use it to blow their foes into tiny bits, and after their foes have snuffed it, the land will be reoccupied... so sayeth the people of Ankara... (Book of Ottoman chapter 13 vs 666)
