Thirty six years is a mere blip. The people of Lambousa hid their valuables and 300 years later their descendants returned when the Saracens left and retrieved their property. You obviously do not understand the GC mindset. A community does not survive through countless invasions by being intimidated by 36 years or 300 years of foreign occupation. This is not unique to GCs, all Mediterranean island communities share this trait of tenacity because without it they would be lost.

You can continue to think you are right the fact that the EU have done nothing against Turkey confirms their support for your viewpoint...the EU have no army so they cannot come to your rescue but dont worry you already acknowledge that the TRNC is part of Turkey so all they have to do is make an official declaration to that effect. The Turkification of the north is not what we fear because we are Turkish in origin its the Greekificaiton we do not want and will ensure never happens.
