welcome cyp1981, hope to hear more from you...

i enjoyed reading the whole thread, thanks to all of you...

it is not just a victory for all cypriots, but for the british state as well; still above its government and the politics of the day.

furthermore, all mankind benefits from this decision, as it gives us hope in the humanity of our efforts.

justice prevails as a glowing spark which brightened a bit today...

bill i did not know you are such a young man, you speak wisely, beyond your years, bravo...

as for the talks, this decision is good for them, it makes clear what has been left sullied for years.

then again i dont want to mislead the subject with my comment, reason i asked that question, i was trying to point that what ever happened on this island we are all responsible for it. ( including trksh army invasion). So i dont think its fair to say its TC's fault and we should try to solve it.. Of course we should celebrate as we said earlier justice dosent win everyday but we sould keep it short and start working.. Every cypriot i know suffered from 'Cyprus Problem' so i think we are the ones who can and it... Only if we all can put ourselves in each others shoes.. Because thinking only ourselves wont take us any further.. Last 35 years are living example...

I understand that some of you need to boost your "self esteem and dignity" as one forumer put it,but that should not be at the expense of other people's self esteem and dignity....SHOULD IT???

Not at all Bir. Yfred inists in arguing in a certain manner, namely one where he says nothing of substance and then finishes his sentence with a what what. HAd he made an argument every so often he wouldn't be such easy prey.

I for one wouldn't mind if Yfred was Greek, GC, Turkish TC or Danish, he'd still be an annoying clown.

But i think i heard the story from one point of view... With all respect i really like to know more about the story from both parties who acctually lived it... So really it wasnt 100% sarcastic question. However i guess it wasnt one side's fault..

Warm welcome to the forum from me too.
Every time a T/C comes on this forum and expresses sentiments such as you did , makes me feel happy that what I and others have been saying all along is valid , in that both sides were at fault and that the occupation by Turkey of a part of our island was as a result of extremist activities that facilitated the invasion . The culprits were the foreign motherland fanatics , had they embraced , as I'm sure you do , Cyprus as their common motherland none of these would have occurred and thousands of Cypriots would not have perished . It is not too late to begin a love affair with this beautiful island of ours respecting and understanding that all Cypriots are part of the majority by embracing their island as their true homeland.

Careful,Cyp1981...You might give the game away very early
Do not think we are very gullible on this Forum...We take nobody on face value...You have to work hard to prove you are who/what you say you are...Now tell us what you learnt in your school books about the Cyprus problem??? Or I will conclude you are a reincarnation of someone or other from this forum...

Why must you play the role of devil's advocate? Cherie Blair did, and finished on the side of the loser.
